Default 2006 IS350 reliability?

Im looking to get a used 06 IS350 and I was wondering if the 2006 models had any major problems or issues I should be careful about. its a 2006 IS350 with about $30k miles Im looking to get for about $26k

the only issues with the 06 are still existant in the current ones. i have a 06 250, and have had very few issues with my car and its at 33k miles. talk to the owner if he had any TSB's done, such as the break dust tsb or any rattles. your main concerns are going to be dashboard/door/rear windsheild (thats the one i got) rattles, and the engine crank on startup (which, if it has it, will be very obvious when you start the car). those are TSB covered, and other than that i havent seen anyone with serious issues on an 06 ISx50. Lexus reliability is outstanding, and if there are any issues the lexus dealerships will most likely take great care of you
good luck with your purchase! the IS is an amazing car, i WISH i got the 350, that 100 hp im missing is killing me

My '06 has only 18k miles. The CD player was replaced under waranty. It wore out the inside of the front right tire at about 8k. Had it aligned. OK, since. That's the only problems I've had. I don't think it has any rattles, but then I'm hard of hearing anyway. ;-)

You don't have to worry about any major issues with the IS. Like most Lexus and Toyota models, they are very reliable.

My '06 has 51k miles on it and I've encounter no problems except the brake dust TSIB (done with no argument at my dealer). I bought the car new with about 23 miles on it and I've driven it on long trips and plenty of short trips. Not one problem. Good luck.

What's a good average mileage on this model?
is over 130 k considered "broken in?"
