Interior lights

i recently got a loaner es 350 and noticed that when you open the doors the lights next the dome light (reading light?) turns on along with the dome light. is there any way you can do this with our cars? i tried looking in the manual but no luck.

ES350 has no dome light. The reading lights act as both dome and reading lights.
