Thanks for the warm welcome, I'm located in the San Gabriel valley. For those who don't know that's about 15 miles east of los angeles. Will post pics soon. Would love to meet up with other is owners who are close by.

Congrats Man!!!

All that matters is that you're happy with the car and the price.
Welcome to the "IS" Family.

That laser cruise control is pretty rare. Haven't seen any car that has it. congrats!

That's the weirdest list of options ever.

It's cool, though. The cruise control option is pretty fun.

It's a weird list because it's not how the car is "really" optioned... he lists several items that are part of the sports package as seperate items.

The real list (based on what we've been told) is:

Sport Package
ML With Nav
PCS
Parking sensors

Everything else listed is part of the sport package (seats, wipers, HIDs) along with a number of other sport pkg features not individually listed like the memory seats, power tilt wheel, sport suspension, sport pedals, etc...

yes, the car came with a weird set of options. Evidently, it was a corporate fleet lease that was fully customized by someone who worked at Lexus corporate headquarters.

I'm thinking of installing the Japan plug-and-play kit (offered thru Prestigious Society) to hack the nav/DVD so it works while the car is in motion. I have the ML nav/DVD system...has anyone installed it on their 2006 IS 350 and what's been your experience? I'm generally not a DIY, so I would like someone's help to take off the vents especially. I will gladly pay for your time. Anyone interested?

I think you got a good deal...with all those extra options normally not found on most IS series you did well. Congrats...and as always have fun with your new toy.

I am so excited to be a part of this forum. After weeks of deciding whether to trade in my ES 300, I finally did...traded it in for a 2006 IS 350 sport package w/37k miles. Got it fully loaded for $28k. Is that a bad price?

Features include
1. HID AFS
2. Mark Levinson w/navigation
3. Pre-collision with dynamic radar cruise control
4. Intuitive parking assist with front and rear parking sensors (you don't usually find this on an IS 350, but the one I bought was a demo car Toyota used for auto shows)
5. Heated and ventilated front seats
6. Rain sensing wipers

Will post pics soon. What sort of fuel economy is everyone getting w/their IS 350s? Is 21/28 city/hwy about right?
Price sounds pretty good. I bought a 2006 IS 350 fully loaded for 27k from a private seller with 32k miles in perfect condition last week. So far I am getting about 18mpg around the city but am driving a little bit harder than I will be as I am seeing what it can do. Very impressed so far. Does yours have the DVD changer? I am told the IS is not supposed to but I do and it was a toyota corporate car in California.

congrats dude! she looks like a beauty. You car is almost an exact duplicate of mine lol. i will say though that if i am nice to her, i can get 27-28 mpg. When i am hitting the throttle it usually will drop down to 20-21. I rarely get much lower than that.

now its time to mod!!!
