Not a problem, other owners have done with carefully selected wheels/tires.

btw, Mercedes does it on the new C-class 4wd's in Canada, BMW does it on 4wds too.

love67 and mrmark are probably the only two that did it unless i missed someone but you can ask them. if the shop is tellin u that go to a different one. call a wheel and tire place and ask. and like mention above the mercedes and bmw does why can't lexus.

That's weird because Mercedes does 17x7.5 all around on their 4matic C class om the US.

im not sure if it will mess up the system, but my shop helped call lexus and they said if it is with in 1" overall diameter then it is fine....and my setup is 235/35/19 and 275/30/19, i believe this is the closest setup we can have.
here is the link of calculator:
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
just try around to see which set up is the closest you can get, but if you are looking for 19" then go for my set up.

oh! one more thing. if it is something wrong, the car will tell you "CHECK 4WD" because last time i was using 17" for the front and 19" for the rear because of some reason. so i don't think there is problem for staggered.

It's the same reason you don't want to drive a car with posi/lsd with two different-sized wheels left and right- it'll ruin the differential in relatively short order.

On an AWD car there's a differential between the front/rear axles too and different sized front/rear wheel combos will ruin it.

Keep the overall wheel/tire total diameter the same and stagger all you want though, risk of harm becomes nearly non-existant.

Correct and Canada/ROW have staggered on 4matic C-Class. I've also seen Euro specs for new GLK 4matic and they also have staggered wheels.

My summer rims are MRR GT1 wheels. Fronts are 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 9.5 in the rear. I haven't had one problem with them. You will be fine.

It's not that great of a pic. I actually ordered the chrome ones and had the centers painted, I didn't like the polished lip look.
