Like what was previously stated your IS will get you "Punani" more than a civic

 

dude I rocked a set of addidas in high school for transportation. I relied on my friends for rides or rocked my moms yellow datsun 210 station wagon. You are driving a nicer car than most teachers. The racing is why your parents got you the 250. It still has some reasonable pul at can be pushed deep into the rev band. I rather enjoy the IS250 loaners we get at the deaership. Be thankful and just know that your car is nicer.

 

damn kid, just looking at their interiors should make you feel better. Also, if I was 17 with an IS I'd probably be more concerned about picking up chicks than racing lol

 

i agree that our car is slower than hondas but it sounds way way cooler telling girls you have a lexus haha

Wow you smoke A4, Honda Civic and accord?? That is just amazing.. because from what I recall, my buddy in his 250 can't even keep up with an bone stock 2000 accord..? I don't understand why people in the IS250 even bother racing?? It's obviously not made to race..


Why do you sound so anti is350? You drive a Lexus and you worry about gas? Maybe you are better off with a Prius?

 

Wow, a is250 for a car, thats amazing, i had a 91 camry out of high school, then i bought a solara for myself when in joined the Marines, then i bought a rsx and now i have a is250, you should be glad for what you have, its a good car, decent power and its rwd, enjoy it. You should thank your parents by the way. You can always sell your car and buy a civic and rice it out, but your still in high school and i guess that was the thing back when i was there....

One of my friends parents bought her a BMW when she was in college a few years back. She complained... because she wanted a Civic, so they took the BMW and bought her a Civic. LOL Whats wrong with people?

For the OP, there are plenty of mods you can put on your car to make you faster.
A Mugen sticker on the front window = 10HP
Flames on the side = 20HP
Racing stripe =25HP
VTEC sticker on the back = 50HP

In this case, maybe looking into the following:
Replace IS250 badge with IS350 = 100 HP
Replace IS250 badge with ISF = 200+ HP

 

Maybe he just wants a good balance between luxury and economy.

 

You sound pretty anti 250 yourself lol, dictating what people should or should not do since they have a 250 and therefore is inferior to 350

Then again I cruise slow and I'm loving it.
