I am going to commit suicide!

Yes, I feel really depressed as well, my clear coat is destroyed with scratches and swirls... in a straight line pattern down the car, the front bumper being the worst.
Why is the paint so weak?

I don't understand how my front bumper is spotless and so is my hood just the sides have really been screwed. Perhaps, I am being dramatic but its my first lexus and I like her to be kept in tiptop condition. My friends call her Monica by the way haha!

here's a pic of my last car...black is so much work to maintain i use to wash and wax this car every week.
here's the a pic of my current car...i wash and wax this car about every two weeks smokey granite mica much easier to maintain.

Rock on the gas pedal was hilarious, but this suicide thread belongs in the intervention forum for all us other OCD members (lol). I would obtain a good buffer in the spring and simply polish it lightly and you will be fine. The paint on the 2gen is very very soft and easily damaged.

There's a dude in NJ who is a sponsor on this forum and is a professional detailer I believe. I think his name is Chris@Glimmerglass or something like that, if you check the automotive care & detailing forum I'm sure you can find him.
