If i remember correctly, the front tow hook adapter costs around 50 bucks... Thats a lot to mount the front licenses plate.

I agree with Coconut and i say just zip tie it to the lower grille or doublestick tape +zip ties.

Why not use the toggle bolts for dry walls that expand out to grip against the lower grill???

Here is a link to the tow hook adapter. IMO, worth the money. Just throw the plate on when you park.

I've lived in Dallas for awhile now and I've been pulled over for no front plate several times and never got a ticket and still have no front plate till this day. My excuse was "I've been in an accident and my plate got crushed along with the front bumper and I just had my bumper replaced." Always worked for me. In Dallas, the cops really don't care anymore unless u give them an excuse to pull u over like most commonly speeding, flashy lights, loud exhaust, rice look, etc. But, to each its own. Just telling u my experience with no front plate.

When I got my car in the summer I knew I didn't want hole in my front bumper but I knew I would get hassled for not having my front plate mounted. So I came up with this solution.

I zip tied my OEM bracket to my lower grill using pieces off foam to keep the bracket the right distance out.

Then I mounted the front plate on the bracket with screws. I placed foam tape on the back of the plate to protect the bumper.

I know it looks goofy hanging below the front bumper but it beter then having hole in there.
