Front lip removal - difficult?

Front lip removal - difficult?
I slid into a parking block and pretty much messed up the front lip. It's the factory aero kit one. Ordered a new one from Sewell, since it was only $150 painted. I see posts on how to install one, but my question is how difficult is it to remove the old one? When I hear double backed tape, I shudder a bit. Is the removal difficult? Just as an FYI my original lip was installed by the dealer, but I still had the gaps in the corners.
Thanks

Is it the stock front lip?
if it hasn't scratched the bumper, just the lip is exceedingly easy to remove
there are a number of bolts underneath it, and that is all that holds it in place.
my car did not have any double sided tape on the stock lip

if its the original original stock lip like this one...
then its easy to remove. i just did mine yesterday; consists of 9 screws and 2 clips. the stock oem one doesn't use double-sided tape.
the hardest part was removing the clips for me because i didnt want to break it, but its actually pretty easy once you get the first one out. just get a flathead screwdriver and stick it into the center piece and push downward, should come out with some elbow grease... other people said they sprayed wd-40 for a easier process.
end result...
tada!
hope this helps

its easy to do, there is only tape on the 2 corners and that is if they used it when they installed. Its a few 10mm bolts and 2 clips at the end. You should be able to do this in an hour or less at your home. If you have a lift to use will make it easier for you. It took me ~ 5 min to get mine off to install the F lip on my IS. We just recently installed the full GFX on Paranomal's car in my garage. Hardest part was the side and it was VERY cold out so that didnt help us out.

if you don't have a ramp just jack one side up and your golden. It should take you no more then 15min. The trick to removing the clips is sticking a flat head screw driver in the slit and pulling it out slightly till it pops up/unlocks.

the circular clips are not hard. if you look at it... it looks like 2 circles. you have to get your flathead screwdriver... between the first circle and the second circle. pry the inner piece downwards... and then the whole clip comes off.
