Tinted or Smoked ISX50 Tail Lights

Hello everyone, Im usually on the 2GS forums but wanted to get some feedback from IS owners. My friend just picked up a black IS350 (sorry I dont know the correct color term for it) and he wants to tint his tails. I just wanted to see some pictures if anybody has them to get an idea of how dark he should go. Blacking it all out is not an option. Also, tint or spray on? Thanks!
