Oil Change - what, how much, and where
Should I use 5W-30 like the manual says or 5W-20 like it says in a TSIB I found on this site?
And where's a good inexpensive place in Los Angeles (around Santa Monica, West LA, or Beverly Hills) that will have the right oil and filter. The dealer wanted $95. And the Toyota dealer in Santa Monica said they wouldn't do it on a Lexus.

i just tried EZ Lube in santa monica last week for the first time. it was painless. they of course try to sell you on synthetic and other stuff you dont need, so just stay firm. if you print the $18.99 coupon from their website, it's very cheap; they just charge for a couple extra bottles of oil total around $25

Where do I get the filter from? And how much will all this cost? Oil + filter + tools? Wouldn't it be more convenient to do it at a shop?
And how would I dispose of the old oil?

Dude are you serious? Autozone, Pepboys, Chief auto parts. Don't take this personally but have you ever removed a bolt from anything? Seriously, its one bolt..take it off, let it drain, put it back in. While its draining, take out the filter. Wow make it easier pay me 20$ I'll do it for you. I can't do mine cause my car is so damn low but my friend does mine for 10$, and hes a Lexus tech, so..but you dont need to be a tech to CHANGE OIL!!

I'll pay you $15 to do mine!
I know it is easy but some people don't want the messy oil getting all over the place
