Thanks everyone for the info. That mobile watchman is sounds like it'll do the trick, but for that price I can probably hire my lil cousin to sit in the car all night.

so, if you record them, then what are you going to do? I don't think the cops are going to post their faces on the most wanted list?

Try and google CYBEREYE. This camera is noted as being able to be used inside vehicles. It's worth a try.
