Not my LEXUS is no more noisy than the 250 except the ruling, but it works very well.
Diesel common rail injection to 400nm, consumption 6.7 liters of diesel to 100km.

At home in France on a liter of diesel is 0.99 euros and the SP95/98 is 1.02 liter.

Gasoline is more expensive than at home than at home, which is why it is in France that can of diesel and gasoline.

An example a BMW or Audi in France costs 56,000 euros while all options IS 220d or 250 cost 42,000 Euros each option.

But I think LEXUS are less expensive home.

In France there is the IS 220d, IS 250 and IS-F, no damage 350 IS !!!!!!

I went on Google Translation because my English is not good!!

If you want more details please.

You really nice to STATES IS

Thank you and goodbye

Hi Splytek,

Il y a quelques francophones sur le forum, mais puisque nous écrivons en anglais, cele ne se remarque pas .

Hi Cylau,

I definitely like your rims

Even if it is not as noisy as a BMW 320d's, the Lexus diesel engine is a bit louder inside compared to the IS250 2.5 V6 engine, and certainly not as smooth.

From outside, well, you can easily figure out that is a diesel engine.

My be I can shine some light on this situation.... The IS220D we have over here sounds no different than the gasoline engines until at higher RPMs (4500- +). It's not like the traditional Ford F350's or Mac trucks you are use to hearing and you automatically know it's a diesel. Diesel technology has come a long ways; under the hood looks exactly the same as ours. The thing I love most about the European version is the automatic fold in mirrors. But I'll settle for my 306HP any day.....
