Congrats and welcome to CL!

F-Sport springs will give you a nice subtle drop and maintaining the ride quality is something you and your future baby can appreciate.

I used to be a member over there too. I had a black 03 CBR-600RR. I loved that bike. I had 2 SV650s (02, and 03) as well, but ended up selling the bikes for the same reason. Plus pot-holes in MA + night riding aren't a good combo.

Congrats and welcome to the club!

I got the F-Sport springs pretty cheap, that's why I just decided to go with them. Tucked tires are nice and I've been there with previous cars, but driveability is compromised. I don't want to relive the days of super curving my car out of a driveway or just avoiding super steep ones. Just want to get rid of as much wheel gap as possible and still look good. Well, got some new pictures of the F-Sport springs on my IS350, looks alright but I do expect them to settle a bit. Rims are still hideous though, haha.. The IS250 is my brother-in-law's.

Drove around the neighborhood and I'm a lot more satisfied with the suspension. I don't notice body role like before on the stock suspension, bumps and such.. I didn't feel it because I'm used to driving lowered cars my whole driving life.

Looks great. How's the ride when compared to stock?

Welcome to CL! Congrats on the purchase and the new baby on the way. Glad you have a 4-runner because although a baby seat can fit fine in the backseats, its still a little tight.

How do you like the f-sports? How's the ride? I'm still undecided between the f-sports, Teins, and Tanabe.

The ride is still nice, i feel more confident in the suspension now because I like feeling the road and gives me a sense of what's going on. I didn't that floating feeling of the stock setup, I just didn't feel confident in ramps cuz I'm too used to driving lowered cars and receiving feedback from the road. The car just seems a lot more fun now and it is while I was driving my car on the freeway to work. I'm very satisfied with this setup because it feels pretty similar to my Prelude which sits on Eibach Pro-Kits and Tokico shocks. It's still somewhat soft, not bouncing all over the place, and can still handle mild cornering without all that crazy body roll. I highly recommend these springs, I picked them up for $238 brand new, so it's still a good price.

Welcome! I don't find the wheels that bad (for stock)... I definitely think the mild cosmetic "upgrades" to the front/rear ends for 2009 are .
