Default My new 09 IS350

Picked her up on the 1st of this month, and man, already drove like 800 miles on the car, haha. She's getting lowered tomorrow on FSport springs, the ride height is just too high for my liking. This car is a nice upgrade from my 93 Prelude which has aprox 200HP.. Still looking for the right rims, and whew can't make up my mind. The stock rims are ugly.. wtf is lexus thinking?! I know a lot of people don't like the taillights on the 09's because I didn't either, but it actually flows with the silver exterior. I don't think it flows on any other color besides white. I only have one pic at this point but I'll post more pics after the drop.

Congrats! I wasn't crazy about the '09 tails till I saw them in person, actually kind of like them. Not sure if I like them more but think they look alright! I also came from a prelude, though it was a 98, loved the prelude but the IS is just more grown up!

Is that right? I thought the Eibach Pro Kit only lowers 1" in the front and 0.8" in the rear.. and I don't think they make Sportlines for the IS350. My brother-in-law's IS250 are on FSport springs with Volk 19" LE37's and it's pretty much flush with the fender. I can't have it super low though, the whole reason I got this car is because it's a sedan and have a baby coming in two months. I know.. the back is small but it'll do, my wife has a 4runner anyways. The GS is nice but a lot more $$$.

Thanks, yea this gonna be my new home.. my other home that I'm moving out soon is 600rr.net. Selling my bike cuz riding getting dangerous, decided to fold my cards while I'm still in one piece. I saw a biker dead body covered with a white sheet on the 10 freeway going home from work couple weeks ago.. sad thing to see..

good choice! TP FTW! make sure you get the red outs for your taillight. i need to do that for mine soon as well. my friend, she just picked up a red 09 IS and she is dying for the redout since i mentioned it to her. she knows the orange piece is ugly ^^

The F-sport isn't that much noticable than a little below stock. You can go with Eibach pro but for the 250..looks better and still have a good ride quality. I'm running pros but for the 350 and I'm happy.
Welcome to CL and have fun here
