Got my 07 IS350 in today for fuel rail recall as well. Actually, dealership is slammed and won't be able to work on it until Monday but I'm also buying tires (yeah, I know, cheaper and better elsewhere but it is convenient). I put 40K miles on the original Dunlop. Got Dunlops all around this time too. $1300 all told, but whatever.

Gotcha- I would definitely take it to another dealer. I make an out of my way drive to Longo Lexus in El Monte because they do a great job. I heard horror stories about Glendale and decided to not risk it with those guys. Definitely find another place you are comfy with!
Good luck!

Dropped off my IS250 for 30K service and as a part of the 30K, they bleed the brake fluids. Anyway, i brought up the rear brake recall to see if it involves brake fluid change; SA said no, so I had to pay for the brake fluid bleed and refill myself. Just dropped it off for all 3. Fuel, Brake, and Steering.
Does anyone here have the detailed work for these three recall?

Just got off the phone with "Simon" at Lexus Canada HO. He claimed he had no idea of what i was talking about, had never heard of the recalls etc. (Actually he was a condescending pr*ck) Fed me some corporate BS that cars for different countries don't use the same components. I highly doubt Toyota would source out different fuel rails, caliper pins and pwr steering assemblies for the Canadian market. I mean seriously, what big difference is there in climate if you live in say Detroit, Cleveland, Buffalo, Minneapolis etc, from Toronto or Montreal?? Are Lexus' that are sent to Phoenix built differently from those sent to Maine?
Once again, the Cdn consumer gets shafted. I get tired of reading of all the recalls in the US that just simply get ignored up here. BTW, I already paid my stealer to fix my rear caliper on the drivers' side...

sent my car in for all 3 recalls yesterday at Lexus Bellevue. it was quick though, i dropped it at 8am and it was done by 4pm. the steering does feel a little stiffer and i could not feel any differences on the brakes.

LoL. Finally got my car back. What got changed:
All 3 campaigns: Rear Brake Pins, Electronic Steering, Fuel Pipes
TSIB: Cold Start Noise
Problem: Check Engine Light On -> Exhaust Valves (all 12 of them) and Valve Springs (all 24 of them) replacement
Total Cost to Lexus: $10619.
Damn.

I got my recalls completed plus the cold start issue. I just want to say *bow* to STEVEN CREEK LEXUS in San Jose, CA. They're fast, friendly, and did not have any issue with them. Thanks guys for such great customer service....maybe cuz this is my first Lexus....i don't get the same experience at Honda. HAHAHAHA. Bad comparison. I love my Honda still.
