Just had my TSB work done (took less than a day) so I'm just guessing it must have a lot to do with location. I live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, where there's two Lexus dealerships. But there's also a ratio of about five BMW 3 series (and six Audis) to every Lexus 2IS you see on the road... it's a rare car around here. Are there a lot of 2IS models being sold in your area?

I had the fuel rails replaced last week. Dealer called me and set up an appointment for 2 days later (still never received an official letter from Lexus). I guess the parts are out of stock only in certain areas of the country.

Good looking out! Now I need to call Lexus and give them my VIN number. Hopefully, my car is not on the list.

Well I have an appointment tomorrow for the 3 recall. They better have all the parts already. After them not wanting to fix my cranking noise at start-up issue my patience is thin.

Hey since you live in NYC, try the one in Bay Ridge. I got mine done there without any problem, walk in for inspection and they told me there was a recal one fuel rails and asked me if I wanna do it. Got mine done, not like I would notice the difference lol

Had mine done on 1-29-09 and it took about... 6 hours. I got a full tank of gas too. Only bad thing was my tank was already 3/4 full when I brought the car in. I got my recall letter about 4 weeks later...

Default Recall Service

I'm taking my car in next Saturday to get the fuel rail fixed for the recall. Just curious if there are any other service bulletins out I should look into.

I have a 2007 Lexus IS350. I'm having some problems with my blutooth, but I'm not sure if its just me. My girlfriend has a really hard time hearing via blutooth. She says it gets really noisy. Also, if I am speaking with her, and she stops talking for around 8 seconds, a static noise gets louder, and louder, and louder until she speaks again. Really annoying. Anyone else having these problems? Its not just her either. Other people have the same complaint.

On a side note, has anyone else ever had this problem here:???

So you contact a vendor to get a price quote on a product, agree with the price stated. Then can never get a hold of the vendor to actually make the purchase? I know he's been on, since he has posted a new thread. I have money burning a hole in my pocket and no one wants to take it!

Oh well, probably a sign I should not buy from this particular vendor!

Good day!
