diy for d4s bulbs?
#16
easyy to do, u just need patience..it takes 40mins. or more step by step..i know there was a DIY somewhere because i remember saying to myself not to disconnect the battery but directions said otherwise. i ended up taking the whole intake air box out and the washer fluid hose out, and use gloves or u will get scratched up!!! n you need an extender like mentioned above to take some bolts/screws w/e out. headlight bulbs are right inside the (2) black boxes which have a yellow writing/warning, one on the left side by the intake and one on the right side next to the washer fluid hose. you will go inside and twist out the thick (i believe) silver cord w/ the bulb attached to some pins. it's not too hard..you can do it!! then make sure not to touch the bulb w/ fingers!! n then well, cross ur fingers because u gotta put the intake back in and reconnect the battery so there aren't errors to se if ur bulbs work/or are in correctly. PM if u want more detail but i think sum1 offered u to call so good luck!!
again, i repeat, you do NOT need to take bolts/screws out. as a matter of fact, you don't need to use any tools at any time aside from removing the airbox and the washer fluid filler hose.
or just go to the above-posted link and you'll see why.
