Has anyone installed a 0 gauge power wire?

I plan on doing the big 1 - upgrading the battery ground wire to 0 gauge. The other two parts (upgrading the alternator wiring) aren't necessary if you aren't going to get a higher output alternator, which I'm not planning on. I might get a better battery though.
Thanks to everybody for your help.

I ran a 1/0 without issue, my lights don't dim so I'm sayin my charging system is ok. I am running 2 class d alpine pdx's and only one class a/b jl 300/2. The class d amps run cold, and supposedly use less power than a class a/b amp. (more efficient). I'd suggest using class d amps where possible, jl just introduced a whole line of 'em.

Im not saying a system with 0 guage will have issues now it doesnt, later it will take most out of your stock alt and thus damging the electrical and such... so which is why HO alt is an ideal when doing big sound system set up
