Default Tire Pressure Warning... how did the tire repair guy remove it?

While my temp spare was on, the thing stayed lit on the dash. After I had my old tire patched and put back on, the warning went off. Did they reset something or does it just go off once you have the old tire back on at the right pressure? The service guy never went inside my car to do anything.

The sensors only detect if the air pressure is at the correct PSI or not. Once your tire was fixed, and everything was normal ... light goes off.

there is a senor on each of your original rims, all of them must be in the correct pressure range and within the range of the car for the light to go off, he doesn't need to do anything

Thanks for the replies. That's what I figured. What threw me off a bit was the guy's statement, "we'll take care of the light for you." As if there was something extra to be done.
