Does anyone feel that the IS250 transmission shifts early?? Usually I don't like to stomp on the accelerator cuz that's not smooth. I usually accelerate at a steady rate, but also would like the transmission to hold gears longer. would resetting the ECU help? ECT power mode holds gears longer, but it's too sensitive to throttle input, so the car down shifts too aggresively.

It depends on the style of driving you have. the ECU learns your style. if you drive slow in traffic all te time and are forced to drive like a granny the car will shift like a granny. If you always drive agressivley you will notice the car will hold gears longer and expect you to drive like that.
However, whenever you give it 100% throttle you will get the 306 HP, whihc is what matters

Shift manually and you won't have to worry about it shifting when you don't want it to.
