Both sides, the 'lil piece in front of the rear tires. Two clips missing, on both sides. Looks like someone tried to rip them off, but couldn't get the last big parallel to the ground, or they just needed the clips. Annoying.

I mean I would have given them the 6 bucks it would have cost for 4 clips.

I actually have one clip missing, but haven't gotten around to getting it replace. It looks fugly with it hanging all awkward and stuff.

i'm missing 2 clips on one side of my car too. i don't think anybody stole em... probably fell off when i ran over something. i took a clip off the other side and put it on the missing side...

 

i had the same issue- I'm not sure if the clips just fail. I had both flaps hanging one day on each side... I was like WTF! Glad they didnt fly off! It may have been myself who cause them to come loose when I installed the gfx side skirts. But yeah those suckers are not cheap! 5 bux each! WTF Lexus... Price gouging me!

 

They were definitly taken, as I went into Lowes they were there. Came out they were gone. I always check my car out before leaving, as I've had lugs and such taken. So I woulda noticed.

 

yea they do that...idk how it happens but they end up falling off or rubbing on the tire so much that it wears it down...the ES also has the problem lol.

 

Mine fell off from the snow. I had the mudflap hanging down one day. The new clip design is much better than the old one.

 

when i installed my gfx front lip, i forgot to reinstall those clips and lost them. I took it from you. thanks buddy. lol jkjk.

I've lost three of them over time. Not from someone taking them, just having them fall out. Once it happened at the car wash and the air deflector got ground up by the rear wheel. Had to buy a new deflector and pins.

Its very common for the clips to get loose on our IS's. Once its demage its hard for it to stay in place and needs to be replace. But if yours did get jack, sorry but get it replace if its bothering you.. GL

 

I've also lost a couple of those clips. The guy in the parts department encouraged me to make an appointment to have them replaced under warranty in the service department; when I declined he gave them to me for free.

 

my clips also also missing, i just used a zip tie to hold them back in, no need to worry about stealing or falling off
