haha i actually already did! i was hella tryna max out tonight my speed limit on the roads tonight, but i dont think it should be doing this though, ima check my oil later on.
throw the are in sport mode and hold gears longer while normal driving, the car will recognize it and adjust. it's not all speed it's more of the acceleration piece so get on it from a stop light.

That's why I like to change my own oil. If your car is still under warranty, all you have to do is document every receipt on the item spent for your oil change as a backup. The reason why I change my own oil is so that way I get to know my car better and know what goes into the engine. If you need instruction, search the forum.
They may have changed the weight of your oil, the cap says 5w30, but you can also use 5w20. Maybe you had 5w20 and they changed it to 5w30 which is a thicker oil. Also depending on which oil brand they use it can also feel different. When I ran Redline oil in my car, it felt slower than now, I currently run Mobil 1 5w20.
I hate to break it to you, but the IS250 is really slow.
I had the 350 and even that felt slow after getting used to it for a few months.
I love everybody's responses like this.
The op is clearly talking about a COMPARATIVE result here, not a "Why is my car always slow"
250 haters abound around the 2is forums.
However, it could be because after you got your oil change, you expect it to run smoother and thus tune into the feel of your car more than you normally would.
