That's why I like to change my own oil. If your car is still under warranty, all you have to do is document every receipt on the item spent for your oil change as a backup. The reason why I change my own oil is so that way I get to know my car better and know what goes into the engine. If you need instruction, search the forum.

They may have changed the weight of your oil, the cap says 5w30, but you can also use 5w20. Maybe you had 5w20 and they changed it to 5w30 which is a thicker oil. Also depending on which oil brand they use it can also feel different. When I ran Redline oil in my car, it felt slower than now, I currently run Mobil 1 5w20.

The op is clearly talking about a COMPARATIVE result here, not a "Why is my car always slow"
250 haters abound around the 2is forums.
However, it could be because after you got your oil change, you expect it to run smoother and thus tune into the feel of your car more than you normally would.
