Question Those that put on 19"s and a drop, how's the ride comfort/quality?

I'm looking at doing both very shortly and wondering how much 19"s and the F-Sport springs will change the otherwise all stock ride quality.

Rating 1-10
10=stock ride quality
1=horrible ride quality

How would you rate your comfort?

I do not have any of those things you mentioned but I believe the F-Sport springs are pretty smooth BUT the 19" part of it may change the feel of the ride. I think it depends on what tires you're running on as well. (just a guess). someone correct me if i'm wrong.

I'm on f-sport springs, 19s w/ toyo T1R.

I give it a 9. But then again compared to my Impreza lowered and with performance tires anything is more comfy. Tires have a big part to do with comfort.

I'd say 8-9 and like what others have said, the type of tires also matters a lot.

no s*** it's going to be stiffer.

i have 19s and give it a 6 only because my car is slammed on coilovers and has stretched tires.

I have the full Fsport suspension setup and it's smooth if the roads are smooth. If you live in rough pavement type of area you won't be a very happy camper. In the SF bay area I would rate 19's with F suspension a 6 out of ten for comfort.

Good feedback for those in the Bay Area. So it dropped from 10 -- > 6 with the switch to F-Sport w/19's?

Work 19's with Goodyear Eagle Asymetrics(8.5 front 9.5 rear) on Tenabe Sustec Pro 5 coilovers, dropped, but not slammed.
I think I have felt somewhat of a trade off. On the stock suspension, I would feel the car almost jarred by some ridge type bumps on the road, like when they paint the cross walks to thick. But on a whole the car was pretty smooth and a bit soft. After I changed my set up, the ridge bump jarring went away, and seemed even better than stock, but on bigger bumps, the stiffer suspension obviously shows. I would say an 8-9 on a whole.

I give it an 8.5. i'm on 19's with General UHP's and F-sport as well, no complaints. Except since there's less rubber, it's a bit bumpier when you go over bumps, but that's expected.

So in your opinion, you feel the ride change is more due to lower profile tire?
