Custom Harness Female Connector Pins, Help!
#16
yeah i have all the part numbers (82998–XXXXX), terminal types, wire types, and memos. i've been looking online at a few places and they all seem to be around $10 per wire, its the terminal and the wire, so all i have to do is slide the pin into the connector. I did the math and calculated that one terminal and wire should cost around a $1 but, I guess since its a LEXUS they use these special terminals and wires, that enhance the audio/visual aspects of the system, LOL.

One thing you will have to keep in mind. If the ISx50 has a ML system and you want to add the navi with ML dvd. You will need the optical cable to connect between the head unit and the amp.
That's one of the thing i found out when i had a unit from egusman. If your wondering i dont have the unit from him anymore. I returned it because there was other things that did not work.

I installed ML/Nav in my cousins car, and he does not have the cable or an ML amp. Everything plays fine, including audio from DVDs. There are things that wont work though. I never figured our Voice Navi, and I never figured out the Auxillary port.

I said if your system is ML. My system is ML and when i added the screen with ML dvd player, no sound came out. Then when egusman sent me the optical cable, there was sound. There was a port on both the unit and amp for the optical cable.

yeah, i dont have an ML amp, but im going to see if i can get sound from the unit without it recognizing that part, because i know someone that did this and lost their sound or something to that affect.
if i don't get sound from the unit i'll use my stock cd changer and sell the ML.

Its been awhile but if i remember correctly it was on the dvd unit itself, single connector, next to the other 3 main connectors. I remember the optical connector itself was blue in color. Though it might vary from other years.
