Default 2IS Engine Kncoking at Cold Start..
Do any of you guys hear excessive knocking on cold start when you start up the car in the morning? or when you let the car sit for a little while?

Are you refering to a brief metallic grinding noise?

Change your oil/

Try Red Line or Royal Purple pure synthetic..

I believe there is a TSIB for this condition. Revised cam sprockets.

What is it theN?

If you are talking about a "knocking" sound, that is normal, and his been discussed plenty of times.

What you are hearing is Fuel Injection.
