Couple questions about the Navigation DVD.
First of all, could someone give me any instructions on how exactly to remove the DVD? I don't have my owners manual handy right now. I tried a couple different searches on the board, but came up empty handed. My guess is that it's relatively simple to figure out, but hopefully someone can tell me just so I can be sure.
Also, if I did the e-brake hack to enable MP3/bluetooth/etc controls while driving, it will still work with the new software, right?
Thanks in advance.

Two pin holes in the clock face panel will release said panel. Go to Nav menu and find "eject Nav disc" or similar instruction.
You may have to reset the ecu/nav system to get the new disc to boot. Simply unhook the negative terminal of the battery for several minutes then reconnect.
Your hack should still work as usual.
That's the best from memory. I could be wrong about any or all of it.

Thanks for the help. I'm supposed to use the two metal pins/rods that are in the spine of the toolkit, right?
Cuz I could swear I remember someone saying to use the "suction cups" they had to pull out the panel, but I see nothing on those rods that resembles a suction cup...

Yes you need to push in the rods. Then you need to pry off the panel. You can use a flathead screwdriver which will mess up your interior. Or use suction cups which will not. You might get lucky (like me) and have it pop off after your push the rods in at the right angle. The rods do not go in straight. Check your manual!

Ack. I don't have the manual right now. I left it at a friend's place.
Does anyone have a picture to show me what angle to push them in? There's gotta be a way to get the panel off without suction cups that won't damage my interior.
EDIT: I think I found a decent source of information:

Though I still don't see any description or picture of what angle to insert the pins.
