Yesterday I went to the mall with my significant other in the new IS....parked in the very last spot to my girl's dismay...she said, and I quote, "We could have just parked at home and walked if you're going to park this freakin far." To that I replied, "Hey! Be thankful you have legs cuzz not everyone in this world can walk."

yeah I baby my car, i visit our detailing section often and I visit autopia.org a lot. I've spent quite a bit of money on detailing products to test out and of course my significant other is annoyed with me when I want to spend a few hrs detailing the car on a weekend. hehehe.

to stop my gf *****ing from parking far, I usually tell her i'll drop her off at the door, and i'll go park; however, the majority of the time she walk with me at the end because she doesn't want to wait, unless the weather is bad, then i can suffer myself

Too much snow and salt here this winter to really keep it clean, along with a busy schedule. Translation - Lazy
At the end of the day, it's a car that was meant to be driven.
That said, i'm always **** during the summer months ><

I dust my car every morning when cool outside. I use my Califonia Car Duster when there is a light coat of dust on the vehicle. It works AWESOME! I rinse my car off with a hose every 2 to 3 days no matter what to knock off just the top layer of dust. This prevents scratches when the dirt is on pretty heavy. I actually handwash the car once a week. I also dress my tires every 2 to 3 days to keep them blinging. My neighbors think I'm probably a little crazy when it comes to cleaning my car... But I do have the cleanest car always on my block. I always get compliments on my car on the cleanliness. I feel great driving the IS when the car is always looking 100% clean and shiny!
Also never use any automatic car washes if at all possible. This sometimes will scratch your paint.

Consider a used second vehicle/rain car/snow car for the winter.
