Default Wheel fitment: beyond my comfort zone, help

Hey guys, I need to ask if anyone has tried this before:

Right now I am running 18x8 +15mm in the rear, with 225/40/18 that allows me 3.5" of sidewall.

Now for those that don't know, that is exactly the same as 18/19/20 x 9.5" +34mm offset.

I am currently trying to see if I can run 18x9.5 +29mm offset... with 265/40 that allows me to have 4.2" of sidewall.

That means my overall offset is 5mm more aggressive than before, will I rub? and if I do is it just a tiny bit, or would the fender sit on the tires completely?

as of right now there is about 1~2 finger gap in the rear, which is why I am going with a bigger tire.

I am trying not to roll my fenders.

Thanks!

this question sounds a little too specific for any of us to answer. but go ahead and test fit it and tell us the consensus! good luck
