Yesterday after have a birthday party at restaurant, I'm stand in the front of restaurant and waiting for my gf from toilet. I listen an old man around 50 years old talk to his gf around 18-24 years old about his new car IS250 RWD 2009 which bought 1 week ago comparing with mine car IS250 RWD 2008 that parking next to his car. He comment with his young gf that his car is the new version. So, no way that the old version can run faster than his car.
I just keep quiet and smile. Then they gone before my gf came back. So, they didn't know the car that he compare was mine.
I just want to know CL member opinion about if we start at the same point and run straint way around 3-4 km. Which one will run faster and how many distance?
1. IS 250 RWD 2009 Luxuary Package no mod.
2. IS 250 RWD 2008 Premium package , F-Sport suspension ,F-Sport Intake ,Fujitsubo Cat Back Exhaust.

I think yours would edge out in an otherwise even race.
The OEM exhaust are very restrictive, even though there wont be much power gained, the aftermarket allows for a slightly higher mid range power curve which gives you a tad more power advantage through out your rpm range

2009 use the same engine as 2008. So, without mod there are the same power.
IMO , If you race in straint way, you will gain a little bit hp from intake and exhaust.
But if you race in a track, you also gain the advantage of suspension which make your car more stable in corner. So, in track his oem car never beat you for sure.
( The case that your and his driving skill are the same )

At lease with Fujitsubo Exhaust and F-Sport Intake , your car has more 5-10 HP than his oem car. ( The reference from factory test by Dyno. )
Why do not make him know it was your car and have a test with him?
Stupid show off without brain! I do not like his behavior to compare his car with other car. Each owner also do not like!!!
