How long did your key fob battery last?

I must of had a whack battery in my fob because I already had to change mine (I have an 08 btw, and I don't start/stop my car a lot either).

It's easy to swap out.
Just take the manual key out of your fob. Get a tiny screw driver and pry open the space were your manual key would have been. The battery model is CR 1632. Good luck!

about 16 months before it started to show any signs of wearing down...I was passing by a radioshack and bought another even though the original probably could have lasted longer.
IIRC, people seem to have more issues when the key is stored near other electronic devices (cell phones, etc).

your is same as mine, almost 3 years. change both of them. I bring it back to the dealer, and they didn't charge me, is it under warrenty maybe? or just forget to charge me, they just gave it back to me and said is all done, you can go now!
