My car turns 3 years old next month and I recently got the indicator that my key fob battery is low. Pretty darn good battery in the key fob if it could last 3 years!!

I have a 07 IS250. Battery is still goin strong! (then again... i never use actually press the buttons on it, I use the door handle)

i have one i use every day. the battery is still fine.

the spare which i used maybe half a dozen times, batteries just died, after 2.5 years.

My initial battery died a premature death at just 2.5 months. Its replacement lasted 2 years and 8 months. My third battery is still going strong at 4 months.

just replaced my two days ago and it was going for a year 8 months. I was paranoid it would puke its guts out so I changed it out early.

Build date of 02/06, got "Low Key Battery" notice last week, so right at 3 years. Had replacements ready in the freezer. Took five minutes and replaced both while watching TV. Should be good to go for another 3 years as I keep my cars a long time.

The original one lasted about a year and a half. When I went to replace it, no one had that particular battery, so I ended up going to the dealer, and they charged $9 for somw generic battery!!!

im probably good until 2020.
