What should happen to the IS250?

So, the IS350 is the sporty entry-level vehicle for Lexus. The HS250h will be the gas-sipping entry-level, and the ES350 is the comfy cruiser entry-level.
With the HS and ES, it seems that the IS250 is rather "inadequate." It's not roomy enough to outshine the HS and ES, and not sporty/fast enough (the ES350 is significantly faster) to make a statement. And although the IS250 has the RWD/AWD options, it isn't enthusiastic enough to justify the higher cost compared to its FWD bretheren. I believe the ES350 and IS350 will be more appropriate to have AWD options.
What do you think will happen to the IS250?
Will it continue to thrive, or will it be removed from the Lexus line-up?
DISCUSS.

The IS250 will not be deleted from the line up..there is a huge market outside the US for this car.. mainly Europe and some parts of Asia (singapore and japan). IS350 is not even sold in those areas, except Japan, and neither the ES too. So, I don't see IS250 being removed from Lexus line up

The IS's role is perfect. It's an affordable way for someone to get into luxury and sport. This generation has sold very well and is a money-maker for Lexus. I don't see any question as to why this model would be in danger of dying off.

Since the 250 outsells the 350 something like 5 to 1. I would predict if they dropped one or the other it would be the 350.
Car manufacturere build cars to sell. If a particular model sells better than another why would they drop it?

I would like to see the 250 dropped and a 350AWD brought in to replace it. The current 250AWD (been driving a 250AWD while my car gets repaired) in my experience isn't all that more fuel efficient than the 350, and for the weight it really would feel more like a luxury car imo if it had more power (350/ES/Camry V6 engine would be nice here).

Frankly, without the IS250, I would not have considered any Lexus whatsoever. I wanted something sporty, and wasn't interested in dealing with RWD. Adding AWD to the 350 would have pushed it higher than I wanted to spend. I would have no interest in an ES350AWD--way too cushy. I suspect that the new Hybrid has a pretty similar ride. I would have just ended up with an Infiniti G.
Once you add AWD to an IS350, you are getting much closer to the price of a GS350. I just don't see dropping the IS250AWD making much sense.
One of my neighbors just sold his Acura TL for a Prius--to me, that's what the HS is targeted to: a buyer traditionally in the entry lux class, but who now wants a hybrid and is not shelling out $50K+++ for an RX, GS or LS, and is forced to choose from a Prius, Fusion and others like that.
