Default looking to purchase an 09 IS250 soon

hello CL enthusiasts... i've been lurking here a for a few weeks and on my IS on what sort of deals people are getting... seems to me most people had a big discount on the 08's when the 09's were being put on the lot... i probably wont pull the trigger until sometime late april early may of this year.... if the deals arent too good then i'll just have to wait a few more months... my main concern is the interest rate... i do plan on financing for 5 years, putting at the most of $5K down for the car... i do have excellent credit of 800+ and currently have a 06 acura rsx-s that i've paid on time every payment... the specs on the car i want is an 09 IS250 RWD auto, nav, premium, 18's.... i see some members have gotten them for about 32-32.5K before taxes here in southern california, so i'm expecting to pay about 35000 OTD... do u guys think 2.9% financing in this day in age, with the economy how it is, attainable ?? the financing rate plays a big roll in if i'm able to afford this car or not... i just dont want to wait until nov/dec as i know thats usually arounud the best time to get the car for those december to remember deals @ low financing rates... i currently am in a credit union, so i do hope to bargain the rate between the dealer and the credit union... what do u guys think ??

Right now I don't think they have any promotional apr. When I got mine back on Aug of 08 they had a promotional apr of 3.9% for 5 years and to be honest that was a rare thing. They never really had a promotional apr since the second gen was released just lease specials. You'll probably have better luck if you go thru a credit union or bank. Talk to the dealer and maybe they can shop around for a good rate. Good luck.

Oo nice..you had some pretty legit mods done man! I actually borrowed 20k from a bank but not as low of a percentage as they're offering to you and my credit is perfect w/ no flaws. I'm making $1k payments a month and by this December the car is MINE. ALL MINE. Purchased the car Dec 07' with a 15.5k down.
