FWIW -- Was at the dealer today and the 09 IS AWD I saw had RE92 Potenza's on it.

Stocks I've seen on 09s are RE92s. I've seen a couple IS 09's with Dunlops. The RE92s are not good in snow, especially turning traction in snow. Car fishtails quite easily. The treadwear rating on the sidewall is only 160, so they aren't expected to last long either. I can't comment on wet / dry traction as I haven't had any other tires on mine, but I doubt they'd hold a candle to a good A/S tire like the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S.
