Default '09 IS250 AWD Stock Potenza??

What type of Potenzas came stock on the '09 IS250 AWD??

I could find the specific type of Potenza through searching and I need to make sure they are decent all-season tires. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply- but would you be able to tell me which tires they are? I am trying to purchase a set of take off tires.

Thanks,

Eric

I have an '07, and that's what mine are. Tire Rack says same for '09s.

I have an '08 and they are RE92 (according to Tire Rack they are crap). I've noticed hydroplanning quiet a few times, also in the snow they are not that great - but I didn't drive around that much when there was snow on the roads.

+1. I did drive around in the snow this winter (not that there was much, but last winter--my first with the IS--there was none). Fishtailed alot. If you have the chance to replace the stock Bridgestones with something else, I'd do it.

+2 OEM Bridstones suck. We replaced ours with Falken 912's and have been quite please. Had a freak snow storm yesterday afternoon/evening, got about 6 inches of global warming on top of the rain which had turned to ice, the IS managed just fine, where we saw a lot of FWD and RWD stuck on the smallest of inclines - was a nighmare getting home, no one had been prepared for this surprise storm.

for me the re92's have performed well in the snow and rain, but I will say that around 15k miles they got very LOUD, i have heard others report the same thing. i will definitely not buy these when i need replacements.

Its Potenza RE92, and those are the worst tires I have ridden on so far. Very poor grip
