AFS has to be on, and the car has to be moving. It's super-obvious that its moving on foggy nights.

You also have to be doing a minimum speed -- I think 30 kph or so. Below that, they do not move.

Not sure what that convers to in mph, but the lights swivel @ 5 mph.

ok..ur AFS need to be..jst trn on ur vehicle in dark are and watch the light move up and down and if it doesnt, tke it to the dealer...DONE!
