Hi,

Starting about two days ago, I started to hear some weird sound from my car. Sounds like some metal sheets or something rubbing against the floor. I still can't reproduce the sound whenever I want, but it usually happens after having some drives on freeway, and happens at very low speed (5-10 mph?) , both during braking and accelerating, for a short period of time (like 5-10 sec continuously in a period less than 3 minutes). I checked if something was really scratching the floor, but everything is pretty far away from the floor and I can't see any marks suggesting scratches..

My car is pretty much stock except the F-sport intake and exhaust, but I don't think those are the causes.

Any idea of what might be going on?? I don't think I read this kind of problem on this forum before.

How many miles on this car??.....Why not just take it in for warranty concern??....Its hard to diagnose a intermin sound problem without driving the car i know from personal experience being a tech at the lexus dealer we see alot of wierd explanations for noise's its quite funny sometimes

 

only around 17K on this car, I guess I will just wait till the sound is more consistent and when I have time to take it to the dealer...
