3M makes a Plastic Cleaner and a Plastic Polish. The Polish will bring the clear-coat back to a glossy smooth finish. If you have deeper scratches you can use the Cleaner then finish it with the polish.
The stuff works great. I also use it for the temp and radio lenses on a non-navi.

contrary to a lot of people on this forum I dont mind the wood look, I would just like to get it back to a condition that eliminates scratches and dullness...
I will see if I can pickup the 3M stuff from some shops here in Canada.
