everyone's already said it, but really the IS250 is about style and not speed. If you're going to mod it, go for the style mods. You can go for VIP looks or for the tuner looks, and you'll be turning heads as you cruise (slowly) down the street. If you're trying to win street races you leased the wrong car.

I don't really know much about cars, but I do know that the Lexus IS250 has 204 horsepower, and 185 lbs of torque. I want my car to be fast. Real fast!

How fast can I get my car to be? What kind of modifications can you do to this car to the max to get maximum performance out of it.

Anyone who has done this to their car, or knows what parts to get to modify it, will be a lot of help.

Thanks.

i think some people covered the basics already. getting as much weight out will help. and dont listen to people who say dont modify a lease. my car is leased and a lot of stuff is already modified. when the lease is up i will most likely return it.

The difference in price from IS250 to IS350 is about $3500.

Nothing will add even half as much power to a 250 as that upgrade, for anywhere near that cost.

although I love my 250, some days i really wish it had the power as the 350. I was driving yesterday with my gf, and i floored it on the highway to pass someone, you hear the engine growl, but the car's not going that fast, sorta like by the sound of your engine your car should take off like a rocket, and she laughed and said, this car is definitly not for speed :S i'm not big on speed anyways that's why I bought it, mainly for the luxury and the style and most importantly the all wheel drive system. i'd say trade it for a 350, you won't regret it.

The loaner car I got while my car was in service was a ES350, and it has 280 some horses, and I was amazed at how fast it went when i floored it, I couldn't imagine the power of the 350...

Exactly what happened to me. I was just amazed by how the ES moves and thinking to myself how crazy the 350 would be. Ended up trading it in like 4 months later.

I don't even think you should hook up your 250 bc it's a lease
