Default Fog Lights w/o Low Beams "Mod"

Well... not really a mod but more of a trick. I had the lights on auto mode and turned off my car. Got back in before the lights turned off and turned the car back on and noticed that my low beams turned off but not my fogs. I tried it once more and it worked. Go figure. Does this happen with everyone elses' car? Or maybe there's something wrong with mine? Sorry if this is a repost.

I think you're just spazzin' out the car. I'm pretty sure it's not normal operation of the vehicle, but I mean it's not detrimental..so just leave it, that's pretty badass

What kind of low beam problems? Like what happened with mine? How does the auto function cause problems?

Its funny you say llama, I used to use the AUTO function but for the past 4 months i just turn it on/off manually. It got annoying turning it off when it was in the garage, and turning it on with the rain and what not...

Plus its not good for the ballast to turn on/off so frequent.

People that use the AUTO feature put the bulbs through a damaging process at times. Whenever you drive through an area with heavy shadows such as a freeway overpass or a treeline if your headlights have to turn on then off then on again it's bad for the bulb and the ignitor. think it's called hot strike or spark. That's why I NEVER highbeam people unless my headlights are already on and I try VERY VERY hard not to let my alarm go off cause that's the absolute WORST thing you can do to an HID system

I thought we have the delay fuction, which is around 30 second then it turns on.

It doesnt go on as soon as you go through shadows or tunnel etc etc.

But then I have it putted in AUTO for a couple years, because I wanna BEAT the HID Kit that I am selling and see if anything bad will happen. so far, nothing happen.
All good. =]
