The key to getting a good deal is being able to walk away if it's not a good deal. I sold cars for 5 years. You have to be prepared to get up and leave if you know what you want to pay.

Also, use the internet to do your research. Go to www.carsdirect.com to research pricing, check invoice cost etc. Once you have all the information, there isn't a dealer in the country who should be able to sell you an overpriced car.

^^^ i dont think you can bargain with carmax.
I think a good price for 06' IS's should be around 25K under 28K miles.

i dont think they will give you that much but you never know... the appraisers are people and some give more than others.... give us an update when you get your quote.



$25k more or less is what they are going for around here in florida also...
but im waiting for one with some extra options and better color combos...

hey man, no disrespect but c'mon! i got mine that has everything but the ML and some other minor stuff for the same price your asking, OTD! mine is a 2008 with 8k miles! your way over priced!
