Lightbulb 4300k HID fog light?

hello my fellow CL members....i've doing some search and i cannot find any thread about 4300k HID fog lights in our car? does anybody have this installed in their car....i don't want to get above 4300k temp, coz here in LA i've seen alot of pick up trucks and rice and mustangs and etc.. have 5k and 6k in their car. They look very tacky...anyway...just wondering if there's any picture that i can view before i purchase this item...because its been BUGGING ME to get one...thnx

i do agree... I know a lot of people here love the 6k... my opinion it looks too ricey to me. but all have their pref...

for me 8k and up are more of the ricey type but not 5-6k.. Well everybody has their own preferences like lilscrapy8 said

anything above 8k is ricey.... 6 k is jus a beter 4300 pretty much whiter and just a tiny tiny hint of blue but more white

4300K bulbs from kits will vary widely in actual color temperature. Having compared many different kit bulbs in my past of the same supposed color temperature, if people provide pictures of their setups, it is best to mention what brand as well as camera settings (white balance, etc.)

i read somewhere that some OEM's use 5000K for their hids. i have 6000k for my lows and fogs. 8K and up are tacky IMO.

Here is a old pic that I have. It is philips rebased 9006 bulbs 4300k using denso slim ballast.
