my new 2009 is250 6mt
Hey guys,
After being a member of ClubLexus for almost 2 years, I am finally a Lexus owner. Long story short, I waited 5 months for my special order but it's here now. I'm sure you have all seen plenty of pictures of 2009's already so here is one I took with my phone.
The car is stock for now but hopefully not for long. Are there any members from MD/NOVA with either the Eibach Pro-Kit for IS250 or Tanabe MT exhaust that I can see in person?

Enjoy

Congrats! Nice, another 09er. There's still more 06-08's in the forums so it should be okay to see more pics of your car. I was in a similar situation of being a CL member for a while until getting my own Lexus.
How does your 6-speed feel? I wanted one, but one was not in stock and then I thought how my g/f would not able to drive a manual if i were to be drunk or something.

06->07: Added shark fin for XM, added button to actually disable TRAC/VSC, added X package as an option, couple exterior color changes
07->08: Changed rear seat backs for more rear legroom, changed illuminated door sills from blue to white, changed wheel color to graphite, added coin holder to dash, improved steering feel, changed cashmere carpet to black on cashmere interior (NOTE- that was a mid-year change, early 08s still got cashmere)
08->09: Added VDIM to 250 models, couple exterior color changes, replaced cashmere interior with ecru interior, general visual facelift of front/rear bumper/grill/lights, added turn signal side mirrors, relocated aux power in center console to be easier to use, enabled use of paddles in drive mode

For 2009

The Lexus IS sedans showcase revised styling and gain enhanced interior function and improved handling for 2009. New suspension and steering tuning improve stability and control, and the IS 250 model, in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models, gets the advanced Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) system. Already standard on the IS 350 model, VDIM integrates all of the car's dynamic-control systems to provide superior handling and traction.
The IS grille and front bumper cover are revised, as are the rear bumper cover and taillight clusters. New turn signals are now integrated into the exterior mirrors, and the 17-inch and 18-inch alloy wheels feature new designs for 2009. On rear-wheel drive models, the 18-inch wheels can now be equipped with all-season tires.
Inside the IS Lexus enhanced form and function with a revised instrument panel center cluster. The paddle shifters now function in D mode, and some controls have been changed for improved convenience. The rear seat headrests are now foldable to aid rear visibility. New interior colors include Ecru (replacing Cashmere) and Light Gray (replacing Sterling), both accented by new contrast stitching on the seats, door panels, and console lid.
"
Recap:
VDIM
Turn signal mirrors
Different wheels
Different bumpers
Different taillights
Grey wood trim
Moonroof controls are buttons instead of dial
Dash/buttons on dash have been redesigned a little
For 2008
-different shade of finish for 18" wheels
-coin holder
-illuminated fuel/trunk buttons?
For 2007
-sharkfin
2007 and 2008 changes were off the top of my head. Maybe a few other minor changes.
Plus what Kurtz said.
