ok so we arent running into rubbing issues, thinkin about running a 18x8 +42 225/40 and the rear in a 18x9.5 +20 255/35. Will this work? That is keeping the rotation really really close for the AWD. If anyone has any other tire sizes to possibly go with im open to listen. We are trying to figure it out so we can order rims and tires in the next month or so.

Quick question guys with 18's I posted this in the will these wheels fit but thought someone in here might know as well. 18x8.75 front with a +35 offset and rear 18x8.75 +20 offset with 225/40 tires all around, will it rub or be good? There is someone about to do the same setup that I am talking to but he isnt sure if it will rub yet or not and I am about to order a set soon and wanted to see if anyone knew. Thanks guys.

u wont come close to rubbing... however it will rub if u are tucking 70% of the 40series tires up front. in the back u can go as low as u like with those specs.

im running 18x10.5 +15 square 225/35 f 245/35 r kuhmo tires

I am getting ready to buy some rims. I was thinking about the XXR 521 18x8.5 +25mm all around with 1.75" lip. Tires will be 225/40 and 255/40. I am concern that it won't clear my IS350's front caliper...I have read about a lot of people having this issue.

My IS350 is currently at stock height, however I do plan on getting the F-Sport springs or X-Package suspension. So my questions are: Will the wheels clear the front calipers? Will I rub and have to do fender work if I lower my car?

If anyone wants to recommend a different tire size, wheel offset/size and what not they are more then welcomed to do so. Sorry for all the noob questions!

Well hopefully you've got the wheels and drop done but incase you haven't, I have the exact same specs front to rear. I'm running 225/40 front and 255/40 rear and dropped on Hotchkis Springs. Only rub in the rear until I got roll+pull

I'm running step-lipped CCW LM5, 18X10.5 front and 18X12 rear. CCdan also has step lips, he has CCW classic in aggressive sizes.
