18" aftermarket wheels on 2IS?
#422
Quick fitment question....
I would like to go 18 x 9 for both front and rear. Will there be any rubbing issues if I go with F sport/Eibach springs? I am considering either 255/40 or 225/40. I know some will feel like 255 is too big but I'm first curious about any rubbing issues? I feel like the 225 may be a bit stretch on a 9" wheel.
Also, what is the amount of drop from stock ride height if I go with F Sport/Eibach springs?
Thanks! (long time reader, first time poster)

Why do you do square set up? Are you planning to rotate tires every oil change or something?

All good points, thank you. I don't necessarily need to go square, just thought it might make more sense. I've actually been running staggered on my cars for a long time now. I think you're also right on the tire size. I like the idea of running 245/35 or 40 instead of the 255. Either way, i need to pull the trigger and do this! I've been waffling on all of this for too long. Time to get myself a Christmas present and get this done.....

Well just found out my stock wheel is cracked and this is the reason I was having to fill them up w/ air every other day.
I just came across these wheels on CL. $390 for all 4. Good price since I just need daily driving wheels for these terrible LA roads. What you think on the offsets: +35 front +38 rear??
www.mkswheels.com
Brand: MKS Wheels
Model: MKS 530
Diameter: 18 inches
Width: 8J front 9J rear
Offsets: +35 front +38 rear
Bolt pattern: 5x114.3

I had 225/40R18 with no issues.
If you want to roll with 255, you MIGHT need to roll fender based on your offset. ET35 seems doable though.
However, I'd suggest 255/35R18 instead of the 40% profile.

Any pics of stock height with 18" on 2011
Wondering what it looks like on stock height of 2011 with 18" or 19"? And what u guys recommend for less issues. Or best suspension jus for dropping it an inch or so to make the gap alittle closer. Thanks! Thinking about vsxx

I went with 18" Avante Garde's
H&R sport
18 x 8.5 : 18 x 9.5
225/40/18 ; 255/40/18
I'm so stoked on the results. I know a lot of people on here will feel there is too much gap but I've had my share of low stances and for this car, I am really happy with the look and fitment of this set up. I give 5 stars to H&R sport springs. awesome ride!

I recently upgraded from lower spring to BCR coilovers set up but I only lower it very similar to H&R height as well so we literally have everything the same

I'm glad it works out for you! Haha, your set up is very very much like mine wheels and tires, if i remember correctly, are exact same specs. Your wheels also look like my TSW Nurburgring in design.

subliime, the BCR coilovers handles better than lower spring set up plus with a conservative drops, you can set on soft dampening settings on daily driving which is a lot comfortable than lower spring set up. I think you should keep it and install after your drive the H&R set up for a while. You will see an improvement on BCR coils for sure. I have driven on both set up.
