There's a big difference between AVG and TANK AVG. AVG runs until you reset it. TANK AVG shows you your current tank of fuel. Which one is showing lower than you'd like, AVG?
Quick question, how do I go about resetting the AVG?
I'm guessing ECU related
Topped off, drove from my house in Coral Springs, Fl. to Key West (189 miles) When we arrived in Key West, AVG/tank was 32 mpg. AC on, avg speed, 50. That included a couple of full throttle passes on the Overseas Highway.
AVG. life mileage: 21.9, mostly city.
Hold down your "Disp" button while in the "AVG" mode.
Thanks!
Must reset today
I have an IS250, I know one number off topic lol,
but last night I did 50miles highway and averaged 36.4mpg going 75-80mph
This was after re-fueling at a gas station next to the FWY
I'm getting 21.1 avg
I bought IS350 4 days ago and I drive 70% city.30% highway.
I don't rev up more than 2200rpm.....just to get more miles per tank....
Still waiting until the car has more than 5000rpm....and then I will speed like I used to do
Funny, I changed back to 18s from 20s and I am actually getting worse MPG. I think I've been driving a little harder but I didnt think it would go down to 16mpg hahaha.
keep your DISPLAY on current MPG you can make it a game and learn the throttle positions to get max mpg. I get 21.5 mpg city, maybe 27 hwy and i drive the flow of traffic.
