Emblems... hmm. I have tried in a few instances to do parts with intricate corners and radius and it seems fairly difficult. Of course the parts I have tried, like the grill frame, have more thickness to them which adds to the difficulty. It might work, but it would def. take some patience..... I guess it's worth a try if you have an emblem to play around with.
I just CF wrapped my interior as well. Looks like I'm going to have to try and add resin this weekend. I want to do it soon before there is any damage to the CF weave itself.

agreed. I already added resin. Just gotta sand it down and then it will be ready to clear coat.
Paphoff... can you give more details on the resin? I haven't done this yet, but if you can post your experiences and type you used, that would be helpful.

Im actually having a hard time lmao I dont know what Im gonna do right now. I mean it looks good and all but the stuff I am using when I sand like peels off and gets sticky. I dont know if its the product I used or what but what I am using is call West Systems and I used this because it is supposed to be easy to work with but i am starting to think otherwise lol. I am still up in the air on what to do to be honest. If any other brave soul is willing to try please keep us updated.
I mean without sanding it isnt THAT bad but I mean I will notice the orange peel and the small amount of dimples. Im definitely getting frustrated.
I think I may just redo it and then bring it to a body shop to sand and clear them and let it be their problem lmao.
I'm not so sure if you're suppose to add resin to the fabric. It's carbon fiber fabric and not the real weave itself, i don't think it'll have the same results?

I dont know. If someone has some left over pieces, just wrap something stupid like a box or something small and add some resin. I mean mine looks fine and was smooth to the touch so im sure your allowed to add it. I actually sprayed some clear on a non resined piece of cloth and it still felt like cloth just a lot more shiny.
I did the same thing with clear coat... like you said, still like cloth just shiny. I don't think there will be any harm to leave it without a resin.... this is what the guys are doing on the E90 post forum and they haven't reported any issues.
