Better gas mileage after fuel line recall?
Hi all, I got all 3 recalls done about 2 months ago and about a month ago, I noticed that my gas mileage increased greatly! I don't know if the fuel line recall has anything to do with it but I'm wondering if anyone out there experienced the same?
I normally avg 330 miles per tank and about a month ago, I started getting 350 consistently. At first, I thought it was a fluke but I've been getting the same numbers at the last 3 fillups.
My driving habits haven't changed at all from before the recall to after. I still do the same mix of highway & city driving and my right foot is still heavy at times.
Btw, I have an IS350.

Mine took a day but I left my car at the dealer for a while cuz I used the loaner to head to Vegas.
Yep, 350. I was amazed too because I've never gotten that much out of my car before. In terms of the recall, you should've gotten a letter from Lexus corporate by now. If you haven't, I believe you can check to see if your car is affected from the Lexus owner's website.

the change in mileage can be the switching from winter gas mix to a summer gas mixture and also warmer temperatures. i will get around 21mpg in the winter and 25mpg in the summer average. i drive 50/50 highway and city.
