Gap in dashboard above center vents -- Can anything be done?

HAHA I was asking the same thing and i had this little explination of vehicle specs but long story short, its normal, you eeither have it or you dont. I try not to look at it. lol

I have that gap too, I thought it was from my sub/amp installer doing a bad job but later realized it is "normal"

I hear you guys, but the fact is I did open the dash for an ipod integration install..
so does this mean its a catch 22 if you open the dash it will never be closed/factory sealed like it was before and if thats the case it should be listed somewhere lol.

When I opened my dash the first time to install FlyAudio navigation, all gaps looked perfectly fine. However, I had to take out the navigation a couple more times and now I have a more visible gap but it's nothing like the picture in this thread.

NIMAM, I have a question for you, since i installed the GROM ipod kit, will this void my warranty?
I would like to take this car in to the dealership and have them fix this issue for me if possible.

I'm not 100% sure, but i don't think it would. When I bought Lexus extended warranty, the dealer was fine with my aftermarket navigation unit.
